Sukna: “WORLD AIDS DAY” is universally observed on 01 December every year. The theme for this year is “Know Your Status”.
“World AIDS Day” was organized at Army Public School, Sukna Military Station, for the students of the school, on 01 Dec 2018 under the aegis of Trishakti Corps (Medical).
The speakers at the event were Brigadier N S Narain, (Brigadier Medical), Colonel AK Gupta, Commanding Officer, Major Sugandha Kishore and Captain Shubhankar Tiwari of Trishakti Corps Field Hospital.
Events like video show, quiz competition, slogan & poster making competition, health exhibition and distribution of leaflets and literature on HIV/ AIDS were undertaken to enhance awareness on safe behaviour, avoiding risk factors and promote desirable attitudinal changes towards diseased persons that would meaningfully contribute towards preventing the spread of disease.
