As I suggested that it’s just a raw emotion that could be delivered as good by saying without specifying the community and people would understand the feeling as same .another thing nobody is saying anything bad about the series people is just against the racism which is the ignorance of the maker and just wanted them to correct and learn the mistake and apologize for it so it doesn’t matter what is the story line or the prepose of the series no one has to watch the full series to understand racism

I beg to differ with the writer of this piece. Whether this word was in or out of context , it is extremely derogatory to all of us. Can you imagine the word being used for women of Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil or other races? As it is our womenfolk have to suffer indignities and abusive languages the moment they are out of the Hills. And mind you the word cannot be compared with Katwa or Dhotiwala.It is a slur to our hardworking and honest women who are spread all over the world, making a living and taking care of families. It should be condemned by all of us and the term must be dropped from the scene.

Wonderfully written. It’s imperative for us to have a broader horizon of understanding than to react on the slightest of provocation. While the content on the web series blatantly seemed to be a racial slur, it was important to analyse the context wholly before forming an opinion. This article has intricately laid out the what’s and why’s and I wish it could actually penetrate the easily agitated Nepali psyche.

What so cool about it miss can u explain us as well what so much raw u have seen in this series from all this years people of our community felt no less pain when half of the racism starts from us when all the bahadurs is in army but people like them wanted the bahadurs to be there gate keeper watch man. And now people like them also wanted to call us a slut well m so sorry we are not enough educated or not well maintained our coolness we still don’t want to be called as slut and we keep on going protesting against it because its enough its just enough we are done with all our patience.
