On the 19th of Nov, at 8:30 PM, an older lady and her son were hit by a speeding Enfield near Gyanjyoti More. The driver and his female passenger later left the scene. The family of the injured are trying to find them.

If you know them, they can contact the family through us, or the nearest police station.

One of the family members write, "My mom and brother were crossing the road and was hit by a speeding Enfield. The driver and the female passenger took off. My mother is in critical condition. We would be grateful for any information regarding the bikers."

MEANWHILE IN WEST BENGAL: 25,000 voter cards with 'same number' found in 11 Bengal constituencies - Including Kurseong, Matigara-Naxalbari.

The Election Commission has identified 11 of Bengal’s 294 Assembly constituencies with over 25,000 voter cards that share identical identification numbers.

The discovery of multiple voter cards with identical numbers raised concerns in the commission as it came days after the office of the state chief electoral officer released the draft voter list on November 11 with 7.4 crore voter names, where some 16 lakh names were corrected or deleted.

The Telegraph has reported that there are two Assembly seats Matigara-Naxalbari (Darjeeling) and — Bongaon Dakshin (North 24-Parganas) — where most voter cards with identical identification numbers were traced.

They said that repeated Epic (electoral photo identity card) or multiple voter ID cards with the same number were also found in Kurseong, Siliguri, Falakata Bongaon Uttar, Madhyamgram, Rajarhat-Gopalpur, Canning Purba, Baruipur Purba and Paschim.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted search operations at 22 premises in the States of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya and Punjab under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 in connection with investigation against Santiago Martin and his entity M/s Future Gaming and Hotel Services Private Limited and other associates.

During the search operations, various incriminating documents, digital devices, Cash of Rs. 12.41 Crore were recovered and seized, along with FDR of Rs. 6.42 Crore has also been frozen.
