We are saddened by the outrageous incident and we hope we one day achieve our dream of a safe and secure society for women. Our hills have always held a reputation for being a safe place for women, though such incidents have always been happening under the blanket. Lets have no place or sympathy in our place for rapists and molesters.
We also hope that the child recovers soon and that proper justice is served to her.
Also, we are astounded by the inherent racism displayed by some of our people while decrying a migrant from Bihar following our report on a baby girl being raped yesterday. We hope all of thoe who were hurling racist abuses yesterday – will equally outrage over this incident too.
