The office if the Sub-Division Magistrate in Darjeeling has issued a notification for prevention of disturbance of peace and to ensure “smooth conduct of the examination”.
The notice, as per the office, has been issued following the trend of “recent events” and credible information, hinting possible disturbance of peace around the examination venues.
The notice forbids people other than examinees from forming a group of more than five. It also forbids people from carrying lethal weapons, use of microphones and speakers, use of mobile phones and wireless around the venues, and also prohibits people from entering the premises of the exam venues.
