AITBA Felicitate Young Achievers From Sonada

Gorkha Youths - making the community proud

The All India Tamang Buddhist Association (AITBA), North Sonada Branch organised a Felicitation program cum Annual meet at Prashanti Gram Community Hall, to encourage and motivate the students to follow the footsteps of the elders who have excelled in their fields.

The program had the presence of

1. Dr. Sameer Lama, a Ph.D and Head of the Dept. of Commerce of KMC, University of Delhi,

2. Mr. Tshogel Moktan, presently posted as Deputy Collector & Deputy Magistrate at Hoogly Dist. of West Bengal,

3. Mr. Amit Tamang, 1st Class Engineering Degree holder from Mechanical Engg branch from Jadavpur University and presently appointed and posted as Executive Engineer at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. A govt. of India Enterprise at Visakhapatanam, and

4. Capt. Passang Lamu Tamang, recently completed her training from Military Nursing Services and posted as Lieutenant at Pathankot, Punjab.

All four youngsters are from Sonada.

One of the members of AITBA from North Sonada branch says “We feel glorious to felicitate all fresh symbolic citizens of the Society. We believe that it will provide much needed motivation to our youngsters. They may be inspired to work hard and achieve positions in life things or even greater.”

We CONGRATULATE all the young achievers and hope that our youths will take inspiration from all of them.

    Good evening it’s nice to know but you will be surprised to know I am the first Maj Gen from Darjeeling rather north east and present awrdee but so far nobody bother Got Nari Sakti Award akso coming g home on 18 Dec Darjeeling if interested can cotact me
